Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is now streaming on MAX. The most recent installment in the Godzilla and Kong movie franchise has continued the trend set by the previous 4 which is that they just keep getting worse and worse. The first 2 movies, Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island were very good but after them we have just been subjected to terrible acting, lazy writing, and lack luster special effects. 

The worst part about this movie is that it is not like they lacked the resources to make it good. With a budget of over $130M you'd think that they could afford to tell an actual story rather than just have Kong and Godzilla keep fighting random monsters. Godzilla Minus One was excellent and that had a tiny budget of only $15M and they own an Oscar, thus proving that you can make a blockbuster film and still tell a story. 

This movie stinks and I sincerely hope that this is the final one in the franchise. Of course, this is just my opinion and with a 6/10 overall score on IMDb and a total worldwide gross of over $500M, maybe I am the one who is wrong here and this movie is actually really good.
